Midrange Horror
Once again I visited the “Colloseum” cinema at Schönhauser Allee to watch a highly expected film. This time it was “Hostel”, a film presented and produced by Quentin Tarantino. The Trailer was promissing as well as the website. But…
The film was only midrange.. predictable and with only some horrorscenes.. and some sex with attractive women. Did the director Eli Roth want to mask the weakness? The story has more potential than the film showed in the end. There were some cut toes, some cut fingers and necks and a ripped out eye.. not much more… I’m a bit disapointed…
